Kamma wins Best Environment Data Provider for ESG

EPC & Data

Geospatial technology firm Kamma was announced the winner of Best Environment Data Provider for ESG at the prestigious ESG Insight Awards.

RegTech Insight, part of the A-Team Group, focuses on how regulations impact data, technology and processes at financial institutions. The 2023 awards recognised both established companies and newcomers providing leading ESG solutions, services and consultancy to capital markets participants.

Kamma won despite competition from industry behemoths, including Moody’s Analytics, S&P Global, and Morningstar Sustainalytics.

The award was recognition for Kamma’s data-driven approach to providing green credentials on mortgage-lender back books.

Matching securitisations with the right data communicates to investors that risk has been considered and plans are in place to manage exposure, allowing them to value, price, and allocate capital confidently and correctly.

Hugo Davies, Chief Capital Officer at LendInvest commends Kamma work on ESG reporting:

“Investor demand for climate insight on property assets has never been greater, and yet accessing accurate information across thousands of properties contains real challenges. Kamma’s technology efficiently and effectively resolved this: delivering the portfolio and property insights needed to assure potential investors, supporting a positive response to this securitisation. In an unstable market, investors require more certainty, Kamma’s report delivered this.”
